Job summary

Socket.dev in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a Warehouse Manager for the 3rd shift (7pm – finish). The role oversees staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and safety compliance to achieve facility goals. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is required.

You will drive productivity, mentor staff, monitor reports, and coordinate with stakeholders to optimize warehousing operations and customer service.

Qualifications

• 5 years of management and leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.
• Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&L statements; and prepare related management reports.
• Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Excellent aptitude in estimating rates and adding and subtracting mentally while multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Implements the business plan for assigned area by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling; assigns duties and coordinates workloads to achieve facility goals.
• Identifies associate, customer, and supplier concerns and determines corrective action or recommendations.
• Monitors and analyzes business reports; prepares daily deposits; assists in managing site and departmental budgets.
• Maintains quality and safety standards; trains associates on logistics and company policies; ensures compliance.
• Supervises and develops associates and leaders; assigns duties; monitors performance; coordinates hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation.
• Provides guidance on best practices; aligns efforts to meet customer and business needs; supports change management.
• Builds relationships with stakeholders; identifies business needs; implements processes and practices; tracks progress and results.
• Models policy compliance and supports company mission and ethics.
