Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead in Hagerstown, MD to lead a safety‑driven team and drive continuous improvement. You will oversee loading, picking, packing, shipping, and forklift operations on a demanding third shift schedule.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year warehouse or leadership experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with RF scanners and Microsoft Office. Excellent benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• One year or more experience as Team Lead preferred.
• One year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement for efficient operations.
• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and forklift operation.
• Allocate daily work and organize shift logistics.
• Inspire team members toward improved KPI performance.
• Provide orientation and tools to staff for job execution.
• Promote health and safety practices in the warehouse.
• Handle daily paperwork and reports, proposing actions to improve service.
