Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Warehouse Associate III for the 3rd shift to unload and load trailers, operate a forklift, and manage powered equipment on a fast-paced distribution floor in Ashland, VA. You will use RF devices and the High Jump WMS to track product and resolve issues during receiving and shipping processes.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 4–6 years of warehouse experience, and 1–3 years operating forklifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in a warehouse environment; loading/unloading trailers.
• 1–3 years experience operating a forklift or heavy equipment.
• Complete SanMar Lift Operator Certification in compliance with OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load trailers using powered lift equipment to move products.
• Prepare orders by processing requests and pulling materials for delivery.
• Generate reports to support error resolution in receiving processes.
• Support distribution center tasks including inventory audits, customer service, invoicing, and tagging shipments.
• Inspect and return equipment daily; ensure safety and proper maintenance.
