Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Shelby, OH is hiring for a 3rd Shift Distribution Utility role. The position involves transferring inventory to pick locations, stocking from PND, and processing mass retail orders.

You will operate Walkie Rider/Stacker and Tugger, perform 6S tasks, and ensure safe, accurate picking and packing for each order. Qualified candidates will be trained to use an RF gun, lift up to 40 pounds, and work effectively in a team within a factory environment.

Qualifications

• Follows all Standard Work including Safety Standards.
• Maintains healthy shelf inventory by stocking parts from PND locations, ordering parts, minimizing held orders, and managing overstock.
• Makes inventory in active locations “pick ready.”
• Picks mass retail module orders.
• Performs 6S activities: stocking supplies, housekeeping, and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking/packing the correct quantity of parts/items needed per order and placing them in the correct container.
• Inspects Walkie Rider, Walkie Stacker, and Tugger vehicles daily.
• Cross trains in all Distribution areas/departments.
• Assist in other areas within Distribution where equipment is required.
• Other duties as assigned.
