Job summary

S&D Coffee in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 3rd shift to support material flow, shipping, receiving and loading/unloading, using forklifts and pallet jacks. You will stock, stage, and transfer inventory, ensuring accuracy and timely transactions.

The role reports to Inventory Supervisor; requires HS diploma and PIT equipment experience; night shift pace demands teamwork, safety compliance, and attention to detail in a fast-paced food production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating applicable PIT equipment.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years of powered lift truck experience.
• Ability to use basic math skills.
• Ability to organize work and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow a schedule and verbal/written instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with supervisor to determine production materials needed.
• Complete RF transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks per training and OSHA rules.
• Perform receiving and shipping activities with counts and documentation.
• Stock, stage, and transfer inventory using powered equipment and barcode scanning.
• Maintain dock and warehouse cleanliness per OSHA and safety regulations.
• Recycle and dispose of waste following procedures.
• Follow all safety procedures and report hazards.
• Comply with company policies, SOPs, quality standards and GMP.
• Assist with cycle counts and location audits.
• Supply production lines with packaging materials and ensure timely delivery.
• Return unused packaging and complete system transactions promptly.
• Transport pallets to dock for wrap and shipping; secure pallets.
• Supply roasted coffee to production lines using FIFO to maintain freshness.
• Demonstrate urgency and ownership in production requests.
