Job summary

Danfoss Power Solutions seeks a Production Operator (Unwrap) for the 3rd shift in Newbern, TN. You will operate unwrapper machines, follow setup specs, and ensure materials meet production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards.

You will join a team-focused environment with opportunities for upskilling and cross-functional collaboration. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; a high school diploma is required. This is an on-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent attendance and good performance records are expected.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team are essential.
• Problem solving ability and a sense of urgency are required.
• Previous production/manufacturing or machine operation experience is preferred.
• Mechanical or machinist experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate unwrapper machines and follow spec sheets and operating instructions.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and comply with safety guidelines.
• Ensure material is ready for next run per production schedule.
• Complete quality checks and associated paperwork (travellers, etc.).
• Support continuous improvement and Standardized Work documentation.
• Communicate across shift to ensure smooth cross-over and handoffs.
• Monitor productivity to meet quality and production targets.
• Maintain 5-S standards in the work area.
• Participate in plant improvement projects and teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
