Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a 3rd Shift Tufflex Tag Sewer to operate a sit-down industrial sewing machine, attaching product information tags to Tufflex slings used in construction, manufacturing and warehouse settings. You will follow production schedules, adjust equipment, and inspect outputs to meet daily targets while maintaining safety and quality.

This contract-to-hire role is onsite in Landisville, PA with weekly pay, and opportunities to build machine operation skills within a team-focused

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Experience operating machinery preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate an industrial sewing machine.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic quality inspection experience.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• HS diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down industrial sewing machine to sew tags onto Tufflex slings per specs.
• Follow production schedules and work instructions to meet daily/weekly goals.
• Set up and adjust sewing equipment for proper stitching and tag placement.
• Inspect products throughout manufacturing to maintain quality standards.
• Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues.
• Maintain production efficiency while minimizing errors and waste.
• Keep workstation clean, organized, and safe.
• Work with team to support production demands.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
