Job summary

Miller Industries, LLC is seeking a 3rd Shift Beam line/Angle Line/Tube Laser Operator at our south location in Fenton, Michigan. The role runs 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Friday, with overtime as required to meet production.

You will independently set up and run beam line/angle line equipment, perform CNC-related tasks, and monitor quality. Strong attention to safety, tool care, and accurate record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of beam line, angle line equipment or similar CNC equipment experience preferred.
• Understanding of robotics and importing solid model files.
• Ability to recognize production priorities and operate safely.
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes as needed.
• Ability to read and comprehend material nesting.
• Team player who can also perform without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Independently setting up and running beam line and angle line equipment.
• Operates CNC equipment and adjusts for material differences.
• Troubleshoots and performs routine diagnostics.
• Downloads program and nesting data; verifies cut material measurements.
• Maintains accurate records of time and quantities.
• Moves material using overhead crane; keeps area neat and safe.
• Follows safety PPE requirements and reporting of damaged tooling.
