Job summary

Dura-Line, an Orbia Connectivity Solutions business in Elyria, OH, is hiring a 3rd shift Tape Operator at the Sugar Lane facility. You will operate tape producing machinery from weaving to reel, following work instructions and training expectations.

Schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 pm–7:15 am. Requires about 1 year of equipment operation experience, good communication, and ability to follow instructions and perform basic math.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1 year of equipment or machine operation experience in manufacturing.
• Experience using measuring devices and hand tools.
• Ability to follow work instructions and perform basic math.
• Material handling or forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor loom/printer parameters and adjust for quality.
• Maintain tape line according to Quality Manual.
• Ensure tape stays within tolerance.
• Perform line changes, setup, and changeovers.
• Document dimensions and inform lead/supervisor of changes.
• Load and maintain raw materials on reels.
• Understand yarn types and their applications.
• Participate in training, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Report unsafe conditions or broken equipment.
