Job summary

The Neil Jones Food Company is seeking a part-time 3rd Shift Warehouse Tagger at our Northwest Packing facility in Vancouver, WA. You will code and tag canned products to support accurate inventory tracking and quality control.

This role predominantly runs 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on the 3rd shift, with full-time hours during peak pack season and flexible part-time schedule otherwise. Candidates should have basic warehouse experience and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent education/experience.
• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred.
• English verbal and written communication and good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs. and walk long distances; climb stairs.
• Willing to pass pre-employment drug test, work extended hours, weekends, and any shift during peak season.
• Eligible for paid sick leave.

Responsibilities

• Ensure canned products are coded and tagged according to product specifications.
• Inspect and verify tagging accuracy, coordinating with palletizing and quality control.
• Review brite stock for quality and pull USDA samples as needed (13x per shift).
• Support compliance with Food Safety initiatives.

NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA.

We are looking for a part-time3rd Shift Warehouse Tagger who will be responsible for ensuring canned product is accurately coded and tagged to allow inventory personnel to accurately track finished goods in warehouses. Inspects canned product for coding and can quality at our Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA. This is a part-time position (full-time during pack season, July – October, and when running production off season; part-time the rest of the year), primarily 3rd shift, 11:00p-7:00a

• Ensures products are coded and tagged according to product specifications.
• Works closely with Palletizing Lead and quality control to ensure damaged product is accounted for and tags are accurate.
• Reviews and audits brite stock for quality.
• Pulls USDA samples according to pull sheet (13x per shift) as needed.
• Complies with Food Safety initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; some college level work preferred; or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do this position.
• 1+ year(s) warehouse experience preferred.
• Requires English verbal and written communication and good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs. and walk long distances; climb stairs; walk and maneuver between pallets of inventory.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, work extended hours, weekends, and any shift assigned during our fresh pack season, generally July - November.
• Eligible for paid sick leave
