Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a manufacturing supervisor to manage front-line employees on a 3rd shift, with training on earlier shifts. The role requires a bachelor’s degree with manufacturing experience or a long track record of manufacturing work, plus at least two years of supervisory experience.

You’ll coordinate with other teams and drive plant performance, safety, and culture, on site. You will lead teams, resolve technical issues, and communicate clearly with stakeholders while building strong

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years manufacturing experience or HS diploma with 6+ years manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Willingness to take full ownership of plant performance, safety and culture during off-hours.

• Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy.
• May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.

• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework.
• Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
• Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team.
• Develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE
• Explains technical information to others.
• Role is 100% on site

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work 3rd Shift, will train on 1st or 2nd shift for 2-4 weeks
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college and 3 years of manufacturing experience OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum 6 year’s manufacturing experience
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing supervisory experience

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $76,300.00 and $114,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
