Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Stationary Engineer to safely operate powerhouse equipment and ensure reliable utility supplies for campus buildings in Greenfield, Indiana. The role emphasizes preventive and corrective maintenance of boilers, chillers, and related systems during a 3rd shift, 12-hour schedule.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years in power/utility operations; preferred are Boiler Operator certification and experience with chillers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of experience in power plant, chilled water plant, or utility operations preferred.
• Boiler Operator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and facilitate preventive and corrective maintenance for all power plant equipment.
• Coordinate all utility operations during shift.
• Operate, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, pumps, and deionized water systems.
• Monitor performance using the Utility Monitoring System and trend data.
• Complete preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
