Job summary

PLA in Riverside, MO is seeking a reliable Sit Down Forklift Night Shift operator to support warehouse operations, loading and unloading trailers, organizing inventory, and ensuring accurate documentation. You will operate a sit-down forklift, perform daily inspections, refuel as needed, and maintain safe, orderly workflows while meeting company safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 6 months forklift experience preferred.
• Proficient in sit-down forklift operation.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to read labels and keep accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload pallets to/from trailers with care.
• Move pallets to correct locations to maintain organization.
• Perform daily forklift inspections using provided checks.
• Safely refuel or recharge forklift per procedures.
• Verify counts on loads and document them accurately.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly at all times.
• Follow PLA safety policies and procedures and report hazards.
• Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed.
