Job summary

SKF Group in Sumter, SC is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to perform clerical and physical tasks related to shipping goods and receiving incoming shipments. Role requires forklift operation and accurate handling of inventory using FIFO where applicable.

You will use ERP systems, process customer orders, and prepare shipment documentation. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience driving a forklift and Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse experience.
• Must be computer literate and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lift and move items/packages using safe lifting techniques.
• Use the ERP system for shipping, receiving, and inventory moves.
• Ensure products from production lines are stored using FIFO when applicable.
• Pick customer orders from finished goods locations using FIFO by date code and stage for verification.
• Perform other duties in the shipping and receiving process as required.
• Use a computer for communications and documentation related to job requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping in work areas (products, labels, equipment, materials, supplies).
• Transport goods in company vehicles as required.
• Package outgoing shipments and parcels.
• Use UPS Worldship to generate labels and prepare shipment documentation.
• Participate in cycle counting as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
