Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Security Guard for the 3rd shift in Mason, OH. The role handles access control, trailer coordination, and routine site patrols to ensure safety and security.

Responsibilities include logging inbound/outbound trailers, communicating with drivers, and reporting issues to supervisors. Outdoor work in various weather conditions is common. A HS diploma or GED is required with basic computer skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English.
• Strong computer skills preferred.
• Walk >1 mile on varied terrain in all weather.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Communicate effectively under stress.

• Able to work any shift.
• Security experience is a plus.
• HS Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Control access to site/facility.
• Manage trailer arrivals/departures with logs.
• Direct drivers to assigned door or lot locations.
• Conduct rounds around building and parking lots.
• Record trailer temperatures and seal numbers.
• Distribute bill of lading paperwork to carriers.
• Observe and report hazards or issues.
• Work outdoors in varying temperatures.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
