Versova is seeking a Sanitation Technician for our Croton, OH facility on 3rd shift. You will help maintain cleanliness and biosecurity across processing areas to support safe, high-quality egg production.

This role involves cleaning machines, sanitizing work zones, following LOTO and safety protocols, and performing daily and deep-cleaning tasks. Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work weekends; prior sanitation or food production experience is preferred.

Formación

• 0-2 years of relevant sanitation experience.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to clean, reset, and perform minor maintenance on equipment.
• Understanding of basic preventive maintenance principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, safety, and equipment care.
• Physical stamina to lift, carry, and stand for long periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for common equipment issues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Basic understanding of preventive maintenance concepts.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holiday hours as required based on production demand.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in packaging and stacking eggs during production hours.
• Clean processing machines and surrounding areas during downtime using approved safety procedures (e.g., Lockout/Tagout).
• Sanitize processing areas using high-pressure water hoses and approved cleaning chemicals.
• Transport waste to disposal areas and maintain cleanliness of work zones.
• Follow biosecurity and sanitation protocols strictly.
• Perform daily and deep-cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all company policies, including food safety, safety, and animal welfare standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
