Ventura Foods in Albert Lea, MN is seeking a Sanitation Associate to keep production and receiving areas clean, sanitize equipment, and uphold GMP, FSMA and SQF standards to deliver safe, high‑quality products. This onsite, third‑shift role pays 23.68 USD per hour with opportunities for rate increases and a shift differential for other shifts.

A high school diploma or GED and forklift certification are preferred; prior sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Competenze

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Good reading and math skills are required.
• Mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Forklift license/certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Clean production equipment by removing lint, dust, oil, and grease and reassemble parts.
• Clean tanks, vats, and change filters as required.
• Maintain sanitation across all production lines and related equipment.
• Operate forklift or hand lift to transport materials as needed.
• Follow GMP, safety procedures, FSMA, and SQF standards.
• Help train new hires and complete required paperwork.
