Job summary

JBS Foods in Pipestone, MN is seeking a sanitation worker for the 3rd shift. You will clean, sanitize, and maintain equipment to USDA standards, supporting safe, efficient production.

Starting pay is $20.50/hr plus a $2.00 shift differential ($22.50/hr). Benefits begin after 60 days, including medical, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k). A 5-day schedule Mon-Sat PM shift with occasional changes ensures steady work.

Qualifications

• Previous sanitation experience is preferred, but not required
• Previous knowledge and technical skills in sanitation, meat processing jobs and chemicals is preferred
• Good communication skills and able to follow directions
• Team Player
• Good/Excellent Attendance
• Self-motivated and punctual.
• Able to work in a fast pace environment/ stay on task
• Detail oriented & focused
• Must be at least 18yrs of age
• Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash down and confirm machinery, equipment and facilities are sanitized for efficient production
• Follow GMP, USDA and FDA sanitation procedures for all sanitation tasks
• Set up, stock and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
• Comply with and understand company policies and standards
• Support and follow all Food Safety and Plant Safety policies, practices and protocols
