B&G Foods Inc. in Maryland seeks a Sanitation Lead to oversee the sanitation program on the 3rd shift. Under the direction of the Sanitation Supervisor and Food Safety & Quality Manager, you will ensure cleaning per SSOPs, GMPs and safety standards, supervise staff, monitor chemicals and maintain documentation.

You will work with QA and Production to resolve sanitation concerns, train staff and provide feedback, and serve as backup to the supervisor as needed.

Competenze

• Must have ability to lead a sanitation team.
• Strong understanding of SSOPs and GMPs.
• Good math and documentation skills.

Mansioni

• Lead sanitation team on 3rd shift and ensure safe cleaning practices.
• Ensure compliance with SSOPs, GMPs and safety policies.
• Monitor chemical usage, handling, dispensing and inventory.
• Operate sanitation equipment including CIP systems, forklifts, and genie booms.
• Perform nightly sanitation verification and readiness checks for production.
• Maintain accurate sanitation records and conduct testing/observations.
• Report equipment damage or sanitation issues promptly.
• Collaborate with QA and Production to resolve sanitation concerns.
• Train and motivate team members; provide performance feedback.
• Serve as backup to Sanitation Supervisor.
• Support FSQ and QRMP initiatives through daily duties and documentation.
