Job summary

JBS Pork is seeking a dedicated Sanitation worker for the 3rd shift. This full-time role reports to the Sanitation Supervisor and works in the Pork division.

Responsibilities include sanitizing facilities and equipment, following food safety protocols, and maintaining clean work areas in a fast-paced production environment. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, operate related equipment, and adhere to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must lift over 50 pounds.
• Must follow proper food safety protocols.
• Work in production environments with safety awareness.
• Good attendance and safety records.

Responsibilities

• Properly maintain and sanitize facilities and equipment for efficient production.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed.
• Use proper personal protective equipment effectively.
• Work hands-on at high speed and lift heavy items when required.
• Keep work areas clean and adhere to food safety protocols.
• Adhere to JBS specifications to ensure meat quality.
• Stay aware of surroundings and report hazards to supervision.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks with minimal supervision, including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, and hallways.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JBS is hiring for quality, motivated, people to join the JBS team on our sanitation as general laborers. These positions include but are not limited to the following duties:

Responsibilities:

• Properly maintain and sanitize facilities (casings) machinery and equipment for efficient production.
• Operate heavy equipment.
• Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively.
• Expected to work hands on at high speed and times to lift over 50 pounds.
• Must keep work areas clean and follow proper food safety protocols.
• Must adhere to JBS specifications in product to ensure quality of meat.
• Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard.
• Perform various cleaning and sanitation tasks with little supervision including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, hallways, etc.
• Perform various other duties as needed or as assigned.
