Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Sanitation Team Member for the 3rd shift in Minnesota. The role is full-time with an hourly rate of $22.10. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing production floors and equipment, stocking supplies, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace in a cold, damp environment.

Expect to lift up to 50 lbs and work at high speed. Benefits include paid vacations and holidays, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and career development opportunities. EOE.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
• Ability to work in cold, damp, and hot environments.

Responsibilities

• To clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line setting.
• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned area.
• Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
• Operate heavy equipment.
• Expect to work hands on at high speed and times to life over 50 pounds.
• Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard.
• Performs other duties as needed or as assigned.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• To clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line setting
• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned area
• Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
• Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas
• Operate heavy equipment
• Expect to work hands on at high speed and times to life over 50 pounds
• Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard
• Performs other duties as needed or as assigned

Functional Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs on occasion
• Ability to walk up 4-8 hours' daily
• Ability to stoop and bend at the waist on occasion
• Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively

Work Environment

• Must be able to work in a cold, damp, and hot environment
• Production and maintenance settings
• Exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives
• Slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise
