Job summary

American Woodmark Corporation in Toccoa, GA is seeking a Return Line Operator to perform the production process, identify parts and colors, and complete quality checks to support the timely shipping of pallets. You will work on the line, ensure safety, and adhere to plant policies.

Responsibilities include operating the line, training peers, participating in 5S/Kaizen activities, and maintaining quality and production goals while upholding CITE values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred; extensive knowledge of processes may substitute.
• Manufacturing/work experience and willingness to learn required positions in the team.
• Record of successful team support and commitment toward continuous improvement.
• Experience in a team environment focused on positive performance and SQDC goals.
• Demonstrate behavior that supports the company’s core values and CITE principles.
• Excellent communication skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify parts and colors and complete quality checks.
• Print tickets for pallets and prepare for shipping.
• Move materials between return saw outfeed and line infeed; set DET on correct program.
• Adjust feeder for material size; operate and maintain equipment.
• Perform 5S/clean-up duties and participate in Kaizen/ TPM events.
