Job Summary

The Restaurant Cook oversees the daily operation of the grill and food prep. Responsibilities include proper food handling, preparation, and storage. Providing excellent customer service and being a strong team player are essential.

Responsibilities
  1. Report to work on time in a clean, complete proper uniform.
  2. Greet customers with a smile and verbal welcome.
  3. Prepare food promptly upon order receipt.
  4. Complete the position checklist, stocking, and preparing for the next shift.
  5. Report safety concerns and customer service issues immediately to the manager.
  6. Know the menu and daily features, ensuring correct cooking and presentation.
  7. Follow the Huddle House steps of service to maximize sales.
  8. Adhere to safety, food handling, cash security, and other restaurant policies.
  9. Perform prep and cleaning duties as assigned.
  10. Control waste and portion sizes to help manage food costs.
Qualifications

  2. Previous restaurant experience preferred.
