Job Summary

The Restaurant Cook oversees the daily operations of the grill and food prep, ensuring proper food handling, preparation, and storage. The role requires delivering excellent customer service and being a strong team player supporting our franchise partner.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time, dressed in a clean, complete proper uniform.
• Greet all customers with a smile and a verbal greeting: "Good Morning" or "Welcome to Huddle House."
• Prepare food promptly after orders are received.
• Complete the position checklist, including stocking and preparing the unit for the next shift.
• Immediately report safety concerns and customer service issues to the manager.
• Know the menu and daily features, ensuring they are cooked and presented correctly.
• Follow the Huddle House steps of service to maximize shift sales.
• Adhere to safety, food handling, cash security, and other restaurant policies.
• Perform prepping and cleaning duties as assigned.
• Control food costs by managing waste and portions.

Qualifications
