Job summary

TE Wire & Cable LLC in Saddle Brook, NJ, is hiring for a Respooling Operator on 3rd shift (Mon-Fri 11:30pm-8:00am). You will run extrusion equipment for thermocouple wire insulation, set up dies and controls, inspect outputs, and perform quality checks while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor plastic extrusion machines for thermocouple wire insulation.
  • Set up extrusion equipment, including dies, feeds, and temperature controls, to meet product specifications.
  • Inspect wire for proper dimensions, surface quality, and consistency throughout production runs.
  • Perform regular quality checks using micrometers, gauges, and visual inspection.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, adjust machine settings, and resolve production problems as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
  • Document production data, machine settings, and quality results accurately.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Assist in preventive maintenance and minor machine repairs if required.
  • Uphold company standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
