Job summary

Pilgrim is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain site ammonia refrigeration systems. The role involves day-to-day equipment maintenance, labeling and verification checks, and supporting plant safety and compliance to meet federal, state, and local standards.

The candidate should be prepared to work in extreme heat/cold environments, pass a background check and drug test, and demonstrate quick learning and teamwork in a fast-paced food industry

Qualifications

• Must pass a mechanical knowledge test.
• Strong knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration operation in a food industry.
• Basic computer skills necessary.
• PLC knowledge preferred.
• Physical demands: Climbing ladders, lifting, working with a variety of hand and power tools, shop machines and tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain site ammonia refrigeration systems.
