Job summary

Qualifications

• Education beyond high school including vocational training or college courses.
• 3+ years refrigeration experience with supervisory/lead preferred.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• This position supervises a group performing related tasks.
• Travel: 1–5 trips per year.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and ensure cost-effective, timely maintenance for all equipment.
• Direct, coordinate, and support maintenance and refrigeration personnel.
• Administer the PSM program and work with contractors or engineering on equipment modifications or installations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with equipment.
• Maintain records and ensure OSHA standards and programs are followed.
• Instruct on PPE use and implement ergonomic improvements in the facility.
• Coordinate team member schedules, clocking reports, attendance, and monthly safety meetings.
• Perform other refrigeration maintenance duties as assigned.
