Job summary

You will coordinate preventative maintenance, diagnose and direct repairs, and ensure a safe, GMP/SQF-compliant production environment. The role requires an associate degree or 5+ years in food manufacturing maintenance, strong leadership, and the ability to mentor staff, reduce downtime, and maintain

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 5+ years related experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Lead, direct, evaluate and train a staff of 15 maintenance technicians.
• Diagnose basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and electronic (PLC) problems and direct repairs.
• Promote a 'Safety First' culture amongst staff; maintain a preventative maintenance program.
• Ensure compliance with SQF Quality Management policies and GMP practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of plant maintenance coordination and leadership of technicians.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and keep production on schedule.
• Direct through Maintenance Manager to implement policies and procedures for safety and cleanliness.
• Quickly assess problems and direct solutions to reduce production downtime.
