Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a processing or recycling setting.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations with calculators (gross, tare, net).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to accident-free operations and compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Set up, run, shut down, troubleshoot and clean production lines.
• Understand and apply information from the Run Instruction Sheet (RIS).
• Safely operate a sit-down forklift and man lift.
• Maintain and complete logs for production ledgers and quality control.
• Complete Ready for Sale (RFS) tags.
• Compute weights and record gross, tare and net figures.
• Weigh material and record weights accurately.
• Take samples and report inequities to lab personnel and supervisor.
• Clean packaging and assess condition before reuse.
• Complete Run Number Time Log and update RIS as needed.
• Keep work area clean and organized throughout the shift.
