Job summary

Productive Resources is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our engineering team at a customer facility in Eldridge, IA. The ideal candidate will perform quality inspections on standard processes and products according to drawings, specifications, and methods, and will train others in metrology usage.

The role requires 5–7 years of QA inspection experience in a high-precision machining environment, extensive GD&T knowledge, CMM experience, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks

Qualifications

• 5–7 years quality assurance inspection in high-precision machining.
• Experience using CMMs and performing calibrations of precision devices.
• Extensive GD&T experience and blueprint reading.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks by priority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute and uphold the Quality Management System.
• Perform ongoing inspections per drawings/specs.
• Maintain assets and calibration records.
• Train production/quality staff in metrology usage.
• Coordinate inspection across all shifts.
• Audit packets to ensure data and forms are in place.
• Inspect non-conforming material and maintain records.
• Report issues to QA/Engineering/Production.
