Job summary

Advanex Americas is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician for the 3rd shift (9pm-5:30am) in White House, TN. The role includes performing detailed visual and dimensional inspections of in-house parts and supplier materials to ensure conformance to specifications.

You will document QA activities and support continuous quality improvements. The position requires a high school diploma, 1+ year of manufacturing QA experience, and proficiency with measuring tools, basic math, and data entry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Quality experience in manufacturing.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to reason and analyze defects.
• Read and interpret dimensional drawings.
• Understand written instructions.
• Team-oriented.
• Math up to algebra.
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel; familiar with ERP (PLEX).
• Read and use basic measuring tools and instruments.

Responsibilities

• Understand and use calipers, micrometers, gauging, etc.
• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspection of parts.
• Document inspections at receiving, in-process, and testing.
• Audit processes for compliance and segregation.
• Maintain and update inspection logs and records.
• Initiate NCRs and follow up to disposition of nonconforming materials.
• Comply with department policies, procedures, methods, and techniques.
• Provide light clerical support as needed.
• Assist manager and staff as required.
• Handle additional duties as assigned.
