Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for 3rd shift (11:00 pm–7:30 am) in Cleveland, TN. The role inspects incoming materials, molded and assembled parts and packaging to ensure conformance to specifications.

You will perform leak and fit tests, verify labeling, document decisions, and implement corrective actions while maintaining safety and clean work areas. Requires high school diploma (Grade 10) or equivalent and related experience; strong inspection and reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10, and related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiar with various quality control procedures and related information; production processes and related equipment and testing techniques; regulatory policies.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
• Ability to write reports, quality control inspection reports, business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Inspects molded parts for cycle time, physical defects and critical measurements.
• Perform functional leak, fit, etc., tests.
• Verifies product complies with established quality standards.
• Release molds that comply with quality specifications.
• Rejects defective material, and marks type of defect on inspection tag.
• Inspects all labels for proper information and identification.
