Job summary

Winland Foods, Inc. in Fair Lawn, NJ, seeks a QA Technician to inspect products, ensure food safety, and uphold SQF and GMP standards while supporting continuous improvement. You will work with production and sanitation teams, utilize SAP, and contribute to quality metrics.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 1+ year in manufacturing; knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus. Shift is 11:00 PM–7:30 AM with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; science degree preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or food production preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, SQF, HACCP and FSMA policies.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor products for quality and safety throughout production.
• Conduct sensory testing, label verification, and analytical testing.
• Lead quality programs and document in SAP and other QM software.
• Perform environmental swabbing and assist with audits and checks.
• Collaborate with production and sanitation teams to resolve issues.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-savings initiatives.
