Job summary

Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry – Manitowoc, WI is seeking a QA Lab & NDT Technician to join our quality team on a full-time, 3rd shift schedule. You will perform chemical and mechanical testing on aluminum alloys, and conduct industrial X-ray and other non-destructive testing to identify internal defects.

You will support product launches with material testing and first-piece inspections, and document results. You'll contribute to incoming inspection and testing of vendor materials, monitor trends,

Qualifications

• Experience performing quality testing on aluminum alloys.
• Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) and X-ray inspections.
• Ability to document results and monitor trends for quality improvements.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and mechanical testing on aluminum alloys to support production.
• Conduct industrial X-ray and other NDT to identify internal defects.
• Support new product launches through material testing and first-piece inspections.
• Perform and document quality testing on various sand systems and process tests.
• Conduct incoming inspection and testing of vendor materials, record results, monitor trends.
• Provide backup support for NDT operations as needed.
