Job summary

The Grandover Resort & Spa, a Wyndham Grand Hotel in Greensboro, NC, is hiring for a Public Space Attendant on the 3rd shift (11:00 pm – 7:00 am). You will clean and maintain all public areas, replenish supplies, and help with meeting spaces and bathrooms.

Description

The award winning Grandover Resort & Spa, a Wyndham Grand Hotel is currently hiring for a Public Space Attendant for 3rd Shift. The hours are from 11:00 pm until 7:00 am.

A hotel Public Space Attendant must clean and maintain all public areas within the hotel. This also includes the replenish of supplies, in all public bathrooms, meeting space, empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal. To ensure all public areas are properly cleaned, disinfected and maintained, it is essential to monitor the hallways during the third shift including vacuuming and inspection for cleanliness and order.

The Public Space Attendant must follow all safety procedures and report equipment and maintenance issues, accidents or safety hazards to management.

Weekends and Holidays Required

Cleaning experience is required.

Note any stains/seams on carpet.

Dust and clean meeting rooms assigned daily.

Polish brass requirements

Windows and ledges to be clean dust, insect free.

Note lights burned out to maintenance.

Check behind all drapes for debris.

Mop hard wood, and tile floors

Responsibilities may include, “Cleaning last minute’ stayover rooms,.

Assisting in the Spa, for cleaning.

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs occasionally and 20lbs regularly.

Able to bend, kneel and squat repeatedly.

Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift.

Able to communicate effectively using two-way radio communication, conveying and receiving information.
