Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Production Line Team Leader in South Boston, Virginia to lead a manufacturing team, organize resources, and ensure on-time, high-quality production against demand plans.

The role focuses on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement within a collaborative environment. You will coordinate scheduling, drive efficiency, and mentor staff while upholding regulatory guidelines and internal procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
2–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Exposure to ERP systems (SAP) preferred.
Experience with timekeeping systems (e.g., Kronos).

Responsibilities

Organize and allocate resources to meet production targets efficiently.
Oversee production scheduling to align with demand plans and inventory levels.
Identify and recommend improvements to equipment and facilities.
Ensure timely execution of production processes and on-time delivery.
Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing performance improvements.
Resolve critical product or equipment issues in collaboration with internal teams.
Guide, motivate, and develop team members to achieve goals.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
