Job summary

Caterpillar's Sanford, NC facility is seeking a skilled production support technician to join the Operations team. Under general supervision, you will test and repair BCP machines, interpret engineering specifications, and perform rework to ensure quality in a high-volume environment.

You will read electrical schematics, assist Design Engineers with data gathering, and coordinate rework activities while adhering to 5S and continuous improvement practices.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Experience reading technical/manufacturing drawings/blueprints.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and follow electrical circuits on machines.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Sanford built products.
• Knowledge of hydraulics with testing/calibrations.
• Read technical drawings/blueprints.
• Perform rework on defects and support design engineers with data collection.
• Coordinate rework activities and scheduling.
• Monitor systems and ensure CPS 5S and standard work are followed.
