Job summary

TekniPlex Healthcare is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for an immediate 3rd shift opening at our unionized plant in Ridgefield, NJ. The role oversees production operations, ensures adherence to quality, safety, and profitability standards, and reports to the Production Manager.

Salary range: $75,000–$85,000 per year. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of manufacturing experience and 2+ years in a supervisory capacity, with exposure to plastic compounding or extrusion and ability to

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of manufacturing or high-volume operations experience.
• 2+ years of experience leading and directing employees.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience in plastic compounding or extrusion is highly desired.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage shift production employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Achieve production and safety objectives while maintaining high standards for quality and efficiency.
• Oversee the operation of production lines and ensure effective use of industrial software and ladder logic.
• Utilize the ERP system to manage raw material usage, inventory, machine hours, and order closures.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and boost productivity.
• Conduct initial investigations into internal rejections and other production issues.
