Job summary

Winona Foods, a local producer of cheese products, is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift in Green Bay, WI. You will lead overnight operations, coordinate with Maintenance and Quality, and drive daily performance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

This role emphasizes team leadership, safety, sanitation, and continuous improvement, with a $6,000 annual shift premium in addition to base salary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in dairy/food production.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with sanitation processes (SSOPs) in a food environment preferred.
• Continuous improvement experience (Lean, 5S) or willingness to learn preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, GMP compliance, and company policies on the night shift.
• Supervise and develop production employees and Team Leads.
• Serve as primary on-shift decision-maker with autonomy.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality and other leaders to resolve issues.
• Drive safety, quality, throughput, and waste reduction on shift.
• Lead end-of-week sanitation and ensure readiness for startup.
• Provide floor presence, coaching, and cross‑functional collaboration.
