Job description

Join to apply for the 3rd Shift Production Supervisor-Blending role at Country Pure Foods.

Supervises and coordinates shift activities of production department(s) in the blending, processing, and packaging of juice and water products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Ensure all employees adhere to Safety & Quality rules.
  • Maximize efficiencies, monitor downtime, and ensure product quality.
  • Print, distribute, and update production schedules.
  • Maintain GMP compliance and follow HACCP plan.
  • Train, motivate, and enforce safety and quality standards.
  • Coach, mentor, and document employee performance.
  • Schedule staff according to production needs.
  • Hold employees accountable to high standards and document issues.
  • Train employees on their roles.
  • Perform first case checks and ensure paperwork accuracy.
  • Assist with machine operation, breaks, and floor management.
  • Support shift transitions, start-ups, and shutdowns.
  • Ensure production aligns with schedules and assist in resolving issues.
  • Perform routine facility walks and sanitation procedures.
  • Understand and assist with Warehouse Management System issues.
  • Perform CIP and piping connections as needed.
  • Identify and resolve problems promptly.
  • Make informed decisions and communicate effectively.
  • Review production orders and schedules for planning.
  • Coordinate with managers to meet production and quality standards.
  • Review HACCP documentation and report discrepancies.
  • Inspect machinery for optimal performance.
  • Participate in shift meetings for effective communication.
  • Address worker grievances and escalate as needed.
  • Manage production data, reports, and attendance.
  • Monitor efficiencies and minimize juice loss.
  • Conduct shift end meetings and respond to customer needs.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises hourly employees in the production department, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions, in accordance with company policies and laws.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent, or 3+ years related experience.
Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical and business documents.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Warehouse Management Systems, and related software.
Physical & Work Environment
  • Regularly sit, handle, reach, and communicate; occasionally stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work may be in humid conditions, with moderate to loud noise levels.
