Campbell's is seeking a Production Supervisor in Kentucky to oversee line(s) and hourly staff, ensuring production targets while maintaining safety, quality, and cost controls. The role collaborates across departments and emphasizes lean practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities of operations personnel to manage flow of production with safety, quality and cost goals.
• Model company policies and apply consistently; coach and discipline when needed.
• Analyze cost indicators and implement adjustments to improve efficiency.
• Lead team initiatives toward safety objectives; monitor accidents and incidents.
• Inspect work areas for compliance with food safety regulations; disposition of questionable product.
• Ensure accurate reporting on production and inventory measurements.
• Coordinate on-the-job training and evaluate skills of new hires and transfers.
• Train employees on quality and safety regulations and ensure compliance.
• Promote teamwork and recognize exceptional performance where appropriate.
• Manage operations improvement through facilitation and coaching.

How you will make history here…

Under the direction of the Manager, supervise a line or multiple lines, including the direct supervision of hourly employees, to produce the required volume of products within company standards of quality, cost and safe work procedures. Ensure that employees have all the resources and tools to carry out their job functions safely and efficiently. Supervisor will also be responsible for working with managers, other supervisors, and personnel from other departments to promote a team environment to achieve goals across all shifts. This individual is expected to be a dependable self-starter who has the follow-up skills to produce extraordinary results with integrity while displaying a positive can-do attitude.

What you will do…

1. 20% - Coordinates the daily activities of operations personnel to effectively manage the flow of production. This includes working toward the pursuit of departmental, plant, and company goals for safety, quality, and cost utilizing lean manufacturing skills.

2. 20% - Model company policies and consistently apply to all employees. Coach and discipline employees where appropriate

3. 15% - Analyze cost indicators and make appropriate adjustments to improve

4. 10% - Leads/Participates in team initiatives directed toward achieving operational safety objectives. Monitor accident trends, complete incident reports, and manage transitional work

5. 10% - Consistently inspect and monitor work areas for compliance with food safety regulations and make decisions on disposition of questionable product

6. 5% - Ensure proper and accurate reporting on all production and inventory measurements

7. 5% - Coordinate on-the-job training and evaluate skill level achieved for new hires and job transfers

8. 5% - Train employees in Quality and Safety regulations and ensure compliance with same

9. 5% - Promote teamwork and recognize exceptional performance where appropriate

10. 5% - Manages the operations improvement process by using facilitation and coaching skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$67,000-$92,100

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
