We have partnered with a Global Industry Leading Printing and Packaging Company in Northern KY to lead a search for their 3rd Shift Production Supervisor.

Ideal Candidate would The following :

• Background in Production Supervision in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's Degree
• Great People skills with the ability to manage diverse personalities on a production floor
• Experience in the Printing or Packaging Industry a Huge Plus

Position Description :

• Manage Finishing / Gluing team members during shift.
• Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the department's shift, including Safety, Product Quality, Material Waste, and Labor.
• Also, involved in Strategic Planning, Budgeting, Capital Investment, and Organizational Development
• 30 direct reports to this Supervisor's shift

Primary Responsibilities :

• Operational responsibility for the department.
• Directs and leads the department to meet objectives.
• Responsible for operating cost of the shift.
• Supervises associates and others in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Manage and implement safety initiatives.
• Ensure quality standards are being met.
• Create a culture which encourages participation, innovation and process improvement. Foster an environment of commitment and teamwork.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Instill a culture of openness, honesty, integrity through solid associate relation practices and communication.

• 8 color flexographic wide web printing press.
• 7.5-ton overhead crane.
• Core baler.
• Safety knife

Shift

• 3rd Shift - 11pm to 7am
