Quanex is seeking a Production Operator for the 3rd shift in Cambridge, OH. The role focuses on producing quality products with minimal scrap and requires basic manufacturing experience. The company highlights growth, a team-oriented environment, and robust benefits.

The position offers an hourly rate of $18 plus a $1 shift differential, with a Sun–Thu 10pm–6am schedule. Candidates should be prepared for overtime and lifting up to 55 lbs as needed.

Competenze

• One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs on an infrequent basis.

Mansioni

• Set up equipment and complete changeovers timely.
• Produce and use Material Identification labels.
• Identify quality material prior to packaging.
• Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; notify supervisor of hazards.
• Attend scheduled hours on time.
• Maintain the work area in a neat, 5S-compliant condition.
• Promote teamwork by cooperating with co-workers.
