Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a production operator to work on multiple production lines, performing tank handling, inspections and data recording. You will follow standard work instructions, report defects, and support preventative maintenance.

The role requires physical tasks, adherence to safety, and ability to operate under varying temperatures in an industrial setting. The position emphasizes quality, traceability, and timely documentation, with responsibilities spanning from tank prep to post-mold

Qualifications

• Authority to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
• Must comply with all work rules, policies, procedures and work instructions
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures and environments

Responsibilities

• Removes flash from blow molded tank, inspects visually for defects, weighs tank, and places tank into post-mold cooling fixtures.
• Performs Quality inspections and records data
• Operates computer systems to identify tank production data
• Works in accordance with Standard Work Instructions and Quality Alerts
• Records and reports any equipment malfunctions, abnormal product quality or any process out of specification
• Follows standard reaction plan (labels, bins, INTRACE)
• Completes required documents (shift logs, traceability etc.)
• Performs basic troubleshooting of production disruptions such as resettling faults and clearing jammed components
• Performs first level preventative maintenance such as checking fluid levels, gauges, and replacing components
• Keeps assigned area and equipment clean, safe and orderly
• Willingness to walk, stand, bend and perform physically demanding tasks as part of production roles

• Works within the operator classification on all production lines and stations for job rotations.
