Job summary

The thyssenkrupp Dynamic Components plant in Danville is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead hourly production staff, drive productivity, reduce scrap and ensure safety and quality standards.

You will coach, schedule, and evaluate team performance, implement 6S and continuous improvement initiatives with the SQDC team, and communicate daily updates to management while meeting customer requirements and safety commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus four years of related manufacturing experience.
• Associate’s degree in a technical or industrial discipline preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities on the 3rd shift to meet productivity targets.
• Coach and evaluate hourly staff, approve vacation requests, and log attendance.
• Enforce safety, quality, and environmental policies and stop lines as needed.
• Lead 6S and continuous improvement initiatives with the SQDC team.
• Coordinate with logistics and management to meet customer requirements.
