Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a Lead Operator for the 3rd shift (Sun night–Fri morning, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM) in Texas. You will lead daily production operations, ensure quality and safety, and guide a team to meet production goals.

The role requires prior machine operation experience, 2+ years in manufacturing, and proficiency with digital tools. You will work in a fast-paced environment around powders and ingredients, upholding GMP/SOP standards and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

Prior machine operator experience required.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or factory setting preferred.
Comfortable using computers, tablets, and other digital tools.
Able to read, write, and understand English.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, climb, and move throughout your shift.
Flexible to work overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations and manage the department in the absence of a supervisor or manager.
Assign tasks and support team members to meet production goals.
Operate, set up, clean, and adjust machinery independently and with a team.
Monitor and control process parameters to ensure accuracy and traceability.
Perform quality checks and in-process inspections.
Complete data entry using paper forms, computers, or tablets.
Train and mentor colleagues on procedures, safety, and equipment.
Identify and elevate issues to supervisors when needed.
Support overflow tasks and assist across departments.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Adhere to GMPs and SOPs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
