Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Pecatonica, IL plant. You will lead a team on the production floor to maximize productivity, minimize downtime, and uphold safety and quality standards.

You will manage daily operations, coordinate workflows, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with policies and a focus on safe, efficient production on the third shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in production or food manufacturing; 1–2 years in supervisory role preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• ERP (SAP) experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of safety, quality control, and inventory management.
• Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to production workers and ensure targets and schedules are met.
• Coordinate workflows, monitor lines, and ensure equipment and materials are available.
• Ensure safety protocols and company policies are followed on the floor.
• Conduct training for new hires and existing staff.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback, including corrective actions.
• Ensure products meet quality standards through inspections and testing.
• Identify and resolve quality issues with QC and engineering teams.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the production area and perform safety audits.
