Job summary

Bonnell Aluminum is seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to lead the overnight anodize production team. You will coach operators, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and drive improvements across the shift.

The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on people leader with strong communication skills, capable of maintaining SOPs, coordinating maintenance, and fostering a respectful work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of aluminum production/manufacturing experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• In‑depth knowledge of metal finishing processes (anodize, electroplating, chemical treatment) and related machinery preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and commitment to a safe working environment.
• Proven troubleshooting experience with production equipment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to coach and develop a diverse team.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions under pressure, and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop 3rd shift production operators; set expectations and provide regular feedback.
• Oversee anodize operation on the 3rd shift; monitor equipment and prevent downtime.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure PPE usage and audits are performed.
• Monitor product quality and work with QC to address issues and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot production equipment and minimize interruptions to the schedule.
• Plan and coordinate materials, tools, and scheduling for the shift.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and support team development and accountability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean) to reduce waste and improve quality.
• Maintain shift records, safety inspections, and end‑of‑shift reports.
