Job summary

Mill Rock Packaging in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Production Flex Associate to support the Finishing and Press Departments. You will rotate across production areas, perform general labor (material handling, packing, labeling, feeding machines, assembling products), and help with line setup and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
• Willing to work overtime as needed by the team.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts.
• Standing/Walking up to 10 hours per shift.
• Regularly lift, push/pull or move materials up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Rotate among production departments to support daily operational needs.
• Perform general labor duties such as material handling, carton making, packing, labeling, feeding machines, and assembling products.
• Assist with line setup, cleanup, and changeovers as directed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and work instructions.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency or safety.
• Perform other related duties as assigned based on business needs.
