Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a skilled technician to set up injection molds and monitor production for quality and efficiency. The role includes robot programming, color loader calibration, and ensuring lock out tag out compliance for all equipment.

You will set up hydraulics and electrical molding machines, troubleshoot issues, and manage end-of-arm tooling, chutes, and conveyors. In this full-time, permanent position on the 3rd shift, you will maintain product quality, leverage the IQMS ERP

Qualifications

• Experience with set up of injection molds for production.
• Familiarity with lock out tag out requirements.
• Ability to program robots and calibrate color loaders.
• Experience using ERP systems (IQMS) in production.

Responsibilities

• Completes start up of molding process and provides first article to quality for approval.
• Programs robots and performs calibration of color loaders.
• Responsible for lock out tag out requirements for all equipment related to the molding process.
• Set up and processing of hydraulic and electric molding machines, troubleshooting of molding problems, programming robots, set up of end of arm tooling, chutes and conveyor systems, and authorized to make changes.
• Maintains quality throughout the molding process to meet all standards.
• Utilizes IQMS (ERP system) for entire production process.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with policies and procedures.
• Attends training to stay current with industry requirements.
• Performs other related duties or special projects.
